Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This policy describes how Tendly may and may not be used. Violations can result in suspension or termination without refund.

2. Prohibited business categories

Tendly is not for:

  • Adult content or services
  • Gambling or sports betting
  • Tobacco, vape, cannabis (state-dependent — ask)
  • Firearms or ammunition sales
  • Multi-level marketing, pyramid schemes, get-rich-quick
  • Cryptocurrency trading or investment advice
  • Debt collection (consumer)
  • Adult dating services
  • High-risk financial services not properly licensed

3. Prohibited outreach practices

  • No purchased lists. SMS and email outreach must go only to recipients who gave explicit consent.
  • No spoofing. Caller ID and sender names must truthfully represent your business.
  • No deception. Do not impersonate Tendly, other businesses, or government agencies.
  • Respect opt-outs. STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, and similar requests must be honored within 24 hours and persisted across channels.
  • No autodialing of cell phones without prior express written consent (TCPA).

4. AI-generated content rules

  • The AI must disclose its nature if asked directly. Customer- facing prompts are tuned to do this; do not override.
  • Do not configure the AI to make guarantees (revenue, SEO ranking, completion times) you cannot back. Tendly's outreach compliance validator blocks the most common bad phrasings.
  • Do not use Tendly to generate content for use in clearly illegal activities.

5. Partner-program rules

  • Partners may not pay-to-join or run paid downline schemes.
  • Partners may not make income guarantees to recruits. The Tendly partner calculator outputs are projections, not promises.
  • Partners must use approved messaging templates or messaging that passes Tendly's compliance validator.

6. Technical abuse

  • No attempting to gain unauthorized access to other tenants' data.
  • No load-testing, scraping, or DDoS against Tendly infrastructure.
  • Discovered vulnerabilities should be reported via /security; we have a responsible-disclosure policy and won't pursue researchers who follow it.
