Partner program

How it works

You introduce a local service business to Tendly. We handle the software, build, support, and billing. When they sign up and pay, you earn. Here's the full mechanic in plain English.

The three tiers

How much you earn depends on what role you play in the sale. You start at Referral and can move up as you produce.

Referral
You make warm introductions. Tendly closes the deal.
15% of setup fee · 5% of monthly subscription for 12 months
Sales
You pitch and qualify; Tendly runs the demo and closes.
30% of setup fee · 15% of monthly subscription for 12 months
Certified
You sell end-to-end. Tendly handles fulfillment + support.
35% of setup fee · 20% of monthly subscription for 12 months

When you actually get paid

  1. The customer pays an invoice in Stripe.
  2. Tendly emits a commission row to your ledger (status: Pending) the same minute the invoice clears.
  3. A Tendly super-admin reviews + flips the row to Approved (usually within a few business days).
  4. On the next payout cycle the approved commissions disburse:
    • If you've set up Stripe Connect — funds transfer to your bank automatically.
    • Otherwise — paid via ACH or check (CSV export). Slower, but works while you set Connect up.

Clawback (the honest part)

If the customer refunds or cancels within 60 days, the corresponding commission gets reversed (status: Clawed back). Outside the 60-day window, your commission stands even if the customer later churns.

This is straightforward fairness — we don't want to pay commission on customers who never saw value, but once a customer's past the early window you earned the credit.

Lead ownership: who gets credit when two people refer the same business

60-day ownership window.The first partner to submit a valid business lead (via the partner portal) owns it for 60 days, as long as the business wasn't already in Tendly's CRM.

Duplicate-lead tie-breaking (in order):

  1. Existing Tendly CRM owner (we keep prior relationships).
  2. First valid partner submission.
  3. Partner with proof of warm introduction.
  4. Tendly super-admin decision if disputed.

If a lead goes cold (no response, no booked call) inside the 60-day window, Tendly may reopen or reassign it.

Team leader overrides

If you recruit other partners onto your team, you earn a small override on their sales: 7.5% of setup + 4% of recurringfrom your direct-team partners' commissions. One level deep only — no pyramid structure, no recruitment-based earnings.

You don't earn anything for recruiting partners; you earn when your team's customers actually pay.

What you can and can't say

Tendly enforces a compliance gate on partner outreach. The following are blocked:

  • Guaranteed revenue / jobs / SEO ranking claims
  • Specific income claims like "make $10k/mo"
  • "Completely replaces your office staff"
  • Fake scarcity ("only 5 spots today" without a real cap)
  • Purchased lists, list scraping, spam

See the full Acceptable Use Policy and your Partner Agreement. Violations can suspend your account without forfeit of already-earned commission, but future earnings stop.
